PARPOL
For Waterproofing
PARPOL, a specially formulated polymeric product is an extremely effective waterproofing compound with a wide range of uses.
APPLICATIONS
In flat and sloping roofs, domes etc. In sunk portions of bathrooms and toilets. As an additive to cement mortar while plastering external walls. As an effective barrier against leakage from drainage pipes, overflows etc. As an additive to cement mixes for gotai. As additive in cement based external paints, to provide additional protection against rain.
ADVANTAGES
Highly compatible with cement. Gives high compressive and flexural strength. Alkaline in nature and hence has no adverse effect on concrete and steel. Forms water impermeable film. Improves workability of mortar. Easy to apply and can be used as a base coat for waterproofing.

GUIDELINES FOR USE
Mix Parpol, water and cement in the ratio 1 : 1 : 2 by weight to form a slurry. Clean the area where water proofing has to be carried out thoroughly. Apply the slurry with a brush. Allow it to dry for 24 hours. Apply another coat of slurry
PARPOL gives a coverage of about 80 sq. ft /coat / kg.
STORAGE	:	Stable under normal conditions. Should be stored away from direct sunlight.
HANDLING	:	Use of gloves and safety glasses is recommended.
PACKING	:	Available in1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg
